My halve dollar boxes were much more productive at one time. This is from a box we searched in January of 2009. My wife actually gets credit for this one. She picked the better end of the box and pulled this beauty.

Anyway, what about the 1852 proof? There are either three known or three minted, but either way that would be pretty hard to find in a roll.

yeah, I don't mean to be scientifically.
@Heavy-metal: If you found a 1951 or 1952 Franklin proof, kudos to you!

Seems our fears on 1922 were premature. But it would have been super cool for a 1922 Plain or 1922D LWC. I'm holding off on 1920 until tomorrow to give a final chance for one of our Fellow Enthousiasts to post on 1921...or 1922 I suppose. Seems a two year jump back would be stretching a stretched guideline a little too far.

I'm quite surprised to see a 1919 Canadian coin posted here since I planned to post mine! This was my first coin that I ever put in my collection as a kid when my mom found it in her purse. Unfortunately it's considered cleaned since I tried to make it look nicer (it was tarnished black) with ketchup before I knew any better! EDIT: minor error correction.

@Derek, mine is a 50 cents actually. I found it in a customer wrapped US half dollar roll in Sept 9th, 2010. It is slightly smaller than a US half dollar.

I should post these before it's too late. This one was pickled- it's hard to see in the picture, but it's definitely a 1919-D. I found a 1919 plain as well, but I can't find pictures. One of the handful of wheats I've found.

@ace_ftw: We did 1921 on previous page. But 1922 was revisited later so it seems that we skipped 1922.
