1877 might be the end of the line. Except fo the half thread, every other hit was about people dreaming of finding an 1877 IHC.
While we are here, I forgot to mention earlier that a former coworker of mine once found an 1878 Morgan at her first job as a cashier back in the 60s. That was back when the average Morgan was worth just barely over face.
Could you possibly convince them to post a pic of it? Also, I found a youtuber (HiddenTreasureHunter) that found an 1877 spanish coin in circulation. I don't know if that would count but I hope it does Link to the vid :

He posted a picture of it under his avatar. He may not even be an active member of the forum anymore. I'm also guessing the OP is only interested in finds from CRHers from this forum. Correct me if I'm wrong.
