I seem to be between doubled dies, lol so I am posting this one instead. I think some of the devices have reached the rim, what say ye?

Die flow runs to the rim as well as die wear. The constant squeezing of the die on the copper-nickel planchets, causes the dies to wear quicker. The lower mint marks happen because they are hand punched. Can be in a variety of areas on the location.

Thank you Sir. I think I will keep this one for the misaligned die. It's definitely marginal, but some devices are on the perimeter.

It is not a MAD. Just extreme die wear.

Slightly misaligned die also. See how the rim is a little thicker directly opposite?

Rhat could be off center because we cant see the revers but it isn't even enough to bring a premium at all. Within mint tolerances. probably another effect from the Die Deterioration anyway
