Nice. I noticed that the Theodore Roosevelt C&C set is missing from your collection.

Quote: I noticed that the Theodore Roosevelt C&C set is missing from your collection. Very observant, jbuck. I usually keep these in my safe and I must have missed grabbing Teddy for the "photo shoot." I have him though! BTW, as far as packaging is concerned (which we "serious" collectors, of course, are not supposed to be concerned about), I think the Lincoln set is the best presentation of the coins/chronicles.

Very good! The Lincoln set is classy like a Dansco album. Admit it. The Teddy is a close second. I like the overall layout, just wish the exterior finish was more like the Lincoln.

Quote: I should post this here as well. December 2016?! We gotta wait a whole year to order the Reagan reverse proof?!

I figured they would want to put it out in the late first quarter or early second quarter in order to capitalize on current interest that resulted from the reverse proof C&C sets so far. I guess they decided to capitalize on the Holiday crowd though.

Quote: December 2016?! We gotta wait a whole year to order the Reagan reverse proof?! The main lists still says TBD (notice others are listed for December)... http://catalog.usmint.gov/product-schedule/(Do not forget to drop-down VIEW PRODUCT SCHEDULE to 2016) I hope it does not take that long for this set to be released. However, if it does maybe they will make it more unique and not the same as the 2015 sets. Perhaps add the bronze medal and/or multiple dollar coins (reverse proof and enhance uncirculated). I can dream, right?

The Reagan set is indeed listed as TBD on the 2016 schedule; however, if you click on the item link, you'll see where the set description proclaims: "This product will be available for sale in December 2016."Here is the direct link to the item description: http://catalog.usmint.gov/2016-coin...an-16PA.html

Yes, I know, I posted the direct link above. (I should have added a "For what it is worth", "While the page says this," or some other indication to my previous reply) I do not remember if it showed December 2016 on that page when I posted the link yesterday. It may have and I just missed it.

I saw that article when I was on the site last nite. Good stuff.
I really hope they do something special for the Reagan C&C.

Thanks for the link jbuck. I ordered a copy of the book Reagan read for my 13 year old son to read.

Quote: I am also beginning to think that the link above and the next three are a preview of the booklet. Ah, quite possibly indeed. Good thought there. And yeah, I expect the same treatment as the 2015 issues (which, I agree, is perfectly fine). But it would be nice if they did something a little different. There are already various C&Ch styles out there.
