I would love them to pair a bronze medal with the silver, as they did with both Roosevelt sets. Also, there is more than one Reagan stamp, so why not have them all. Just saying.

I only have the Lincoln C&C set..... I do wish that budget restrictions for me allowed all of them, but I am developing a plan to procure my favorite President though.. I wonder how long these presidential C&C sets will continue ? I'm assuming that there is a list of contenders ....how long is the list tho ? I fully expect the Mint to beat this special series to death of course, before they're finally done with it. And I doubt they will make "one" special one different from all the rest throughout the program, but yeah, it would be nice if they did it with Reagan.

Quote: I wonder how long these presidential C&C sets will continue ? The Reagan set is the end of the line because he's the last president who passed away. Once the Presidential dollar series is complete this year, there will be no more unless new legislation is introduced.

Reagan is the final dollar, so his will be the final set.

Ahh, ok. So no George Washington C&C set ? John Adams Old Hickory Ulysses Grant Etc., etc., etc.... I know those wouldn't coincide with the release of their corresponding dollar coin...but this C&C program wasn't around then either....that's why I thought the possibility was there, even under legislative regulations. So, if I'm only gonna have two....maybe I will have the best two !?! ... (matter of opinion I suppose).... If I get it...I would have the first one and the last one then...nuthin wrong with that.

They would have to have a supply of unsold proof dollars to use and I am not sure if they do. They certainly have plenty of business strikes sitting around. Even then, they would be normal proof, which is what both Roosevelt C&C sets had. The last four C&C sets (Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson) used reverse proof dollars (which were only made for the C&C sets). They cannot go back to make more proofs without authorization.

Indeed. And if I don't get one, it's Bedtime for Bonzo. (That's a bit of a stretch; I know)

Third installment. I wonder if the release of the set will coincide with the 4th (and final) installment?
