As for that 1000 dollar bag you mention, it might be worth checking out!
Agreed. Have accounts at two banks that have coin machines. I can slowly dump them at those banks and then write checks from those banks to the bank I bought the coins from to move the funds around so I can buy some more. One way to get rid of the coins and not upset any of the banks - I hope.
I'll also contact someone I met recently who, among other outlets, sells merchandise at flea markets. He found he could get $2 for an Ike since the average person can't find them anymore but wants to collect them. That might be one way I can dump some of them and make a Kennedy on the deal going 50/50 with him on the sales.
However, getting a $1000 bag of Ike's is another story. I'll try but I'm not optimistic about finding a bank that can order them for me. I'll ask the banks who delivers their coins and see if Loomis is one of the companies. Supposedly/allegedly in the past, some coin hunters have gotten Ike's at banks served by Loomis.
Let you know if I get the rest of the $280 in Kennedy's I found at one bank. At least I can dump that amount in two shots at the two banks with coin machines. If I can find one good coin in the mix I'll be happy.
