Hey jbuck, to answer your (and others) question, PCGS coinfacts lists a recommended value of 20 dollars for this.

Heres another one of mine that I found years ago and the dealer couldn't make out a date and neither could I, but we both knew it was 187x, so I bought it for 2 bucks . Fairly recently, I determined the last digit had to be a 2 from the shape looking like a 2, so 1872 it is in PO-01.

I myself was wondering if this was a 1873, but after rolling it around different lighting a bit, it looked more like a 2 than a 3, but yeah, I see what you are saying of course.

Unless the date can be definitely defined, it would not grade as a lowball.
