Bumping this thread to show my venerable 1867 British penny, pulled from circulation circa 1970 and recently retired from my main collection!

As Jackie Gleason/Peter Griffin would say "She's been punched, right in the kisser".

Even my LIPS are not that big - perhaps her name is Liberty Jagger?

Strictly gap filling here, but finding high grade 1840s UK halfcrowns is like finding gold doubloons in a silver mine.

I still don't have 1869 in my lowball date set for the type (also missing 1878, another rare year, and I think a few years in the 1880s and 1890s, because lowball examples are less common for these later dates).

I was proud of finding an 1864 (Crosslet 4, as it happens) for the set, but 1869 is another level. I hope I would find one eventually.
