Very Old Russian Coin? Before 1700-S?

I just got this old coin on a whim from an antique mall dealer but he doesn't seem to know what it is either. It looks Russian in design and quite old but I am at a loss.

The language is not modern Russian and could possibly be an old style. There is no date I can see and it's about the size of a silver dollar. I think it is brass or copper.

Any clue? Anyone seen this before?

Copy/restrike of first Russian rouble made in 1654(the original) with name of Aleksey Mikhailovich.

If I recall correctly, many early Russian coins were melted by the Soviet government.
