StorminNorman34 New Member United States 35 Posts	Posted 11/24/2015 02:39 am Ohh....I'm assuming there must be some copper 1983's? If that's so, then wouldn't the flipping method work? In order to tell if a 1982 cent is copper or zinc, I flip it and then listen to the sound it. A copper cent will have a "ting" whereas a zinc cent has a thud. Report this Post to the Staff
