Just got my first 2 Oklahoma Quarters (2008) today in some change from the store.

I was at the bank picking up a box of nickels and overheard the woman next to me ask the teller for some of the new quarters and he told her they weren't available until mid-March!
Could it be that he was un-informed or perhaps that branch can't order them until then? I guess I really should have asked...
They had stacks of 2008D Monroe dollars, though!

i think I would have picked up a few and resold them for those on the east coast who can't get them as readily...that would be easy money

I guess that could be done. They had a good $1,000 in rolls out in the open and no telling what was behind closed doors. The teller was even good enough to let me dig through the dozen or so halves he had in his coin tray, but no keepers.

Only the Oklahoma quarter so far. It already had tarnish on it, so I wasn't that moved. Just tossed it in my loose change jar.

only 08 coin is pres. dollar purchased from the bank nothing found in circulation yet. I just found a 2007 nickel the other day so 08 will probably be a while for me

Finally! been pestering the banks for monroes and oklahomas and finally gave up.. then today I received 3 brand new oklahomas out of a roll. I'm about to go look em over now.  |

I have Oklahoma P and D, and Monroe P and D.... as well as an 2008 Silver Eagle.
No cents or nickels or anything else yet.

Friday night I went into work and we had rolls of 2008 D pennies. :D I bought one and am going to go through it sometime tonight.

Got a roll of Oklahoma quarter and Monroe dollars at the bank. Haven't found any 08 from circulation though. I don't expect to find any of those soon.

Got a 2008 cent in change last weekend and found one on the ground. The odd thing is both were Philly but being in St. Louis, I always see Denver first  |

I've picked up 11 boxes of the 2008 D pennies. I have been flipping them for $80 per box on ebay. |
