Greetings!

Okay bear with me coin experts, I am a rookie. I have been reading and looking at photos and I still cannot tell the edge of this 1907 Indian head gold $10 coin. Wire or rolled? no mint mark so that is Philadelphia I believe. Based on information on this website it would appear there were many of these minted. Stars on the outer rim.

Any info would be much appreciated!

This is the common circulation strike 1907 eagle. If it were a wire rim there would be a distinct thin rim on the outer edge of the coin. If it were the rolled rim there would periods on either side of the words in the motto: .e. .pluribus. .unum. Both of these varieties are more like pattern coins and are extremely rare.

You still have a very nice coin, even though it's not rare. It appears to be uncirculated and very sharply detailed.
