And speaking of that 1938-S, got 28 rolls of nickels today, and one of the 7 S&S MWRs produced my 8th ever (7th CRH) of them...
Excellent!

Great finds everyone!! It's been awhile since I've been on here but I've just recently got back into this crazy and extremely addictive hobby!

Anywho, I found my first ever 1913-D type 1 buffalo today!

I've also found a really nice 1964 proof with some rainbow toning to it!
I'll try to post all my "interesting" and cool finds. Best of luck to everyone to find that Christmas silver!

GREAT find, Frogman! That must have come out of a collection. Not often you find Buffalos of that age with that much horn detail.

I bought 5 rolls of nickels at work last night and all I found was a 1940. Not a great bunch of rolls there.

25 rolls from 3 different banks yielded 10 pre-60s... my average... 20 CWR produced 7, 5 MWR produced 3 (all in 1 roll).

4 of the coins though were not easy pulls. Oddly, 5 of the coins came from two rolls, the 1938 and BU 1947-S came out of the SAME CWR! The 1943-S and the 1951 (along with a 1957-D) came out of one of the MWRs.

I like the 1947S, Its fun finding uncirculated pre-1960s! Especially from the 40s

I found this cool looking War Nickel from $20 of CWR!

Here are a few coins from this month. Most of of the silver coins I find are 1943-P. The 1950-P is only my third or fourth one I have found while CRHing.

Nice finds, aristarchus and Frogman!

I've actually found quite a few Uncs from the 1940s. 1940, 1943-D, 1945-S, 1946, 1947, 1947-S, 1948-S, and 1949-D off the top of my head... And even a couple of 1939 Phillys.

Well, I'm organizing my finds right now... so I decided to get a group 47 of my coins together with something in common, and see if they could all say "cheese" at the same time...

That is a lot of 2009-P Jeffersons! I find more silver War Nickels that 2009 coins.
