I had a terrific box last night:
1943P 1943S 1950p undated buffalo 1954s upgrade in mint condition, but not a proof. This baby spent most of it's life out of circulation.

Loving nickels!

We had our best box ever at the end of September. 5 War Nickels (43P, (2) 44P's, 45D and 45S), plus 72 other pre-60's nickels. Had a nickel from each year between 1938-1959, except 1950. Also had a 1938D in the box. A very productive (and fun) box for us!

Went through 2 nickel boxes this weekend. I found a very shiny clean 1953 S nickel. I haven't searched nickels long, but this one stands out and is in great shape. On the back there are subtle groves around the building above and below that you can see in the image. Anything special or just great condition coin? Other highlights: - cool smoothed modern nickel - Undated Buffalo - 1944 S War Nickel- 20 cent 1975 Mexican coin - (2) 1939 Nickels and many other hole fillers
