Hi everyone, Finally had a box to write about this past week. Found a 44P Silver, and a dateless Buffalo nickel along with 18 other pre-60's Jefferson nickels. Found a 2009P and 3 Canadian Nickels as well, along with this guy: This is our 2nd 39D in the last 3 months (last one on September 20, 2019). Very happy to add it to the collection!

Excellent 39D find dadsoncoinhobby. I'm still waiting for my first 39D along with a 43D and 44S to complete my first set from the wild.

Hi everyone. I searched my first nickel box since I stopped about 5 years ago. I have to look at my stats but I think I've searched something like 95 boxes. All I am missing is the 1950d and I've never found a V nickel. Since I'm not active in the thread, have there been finds lately of either of these? I'm thinking I had no luck back in the day and it'll only be harder today.

Welcome back to coin roll hunting. After searching over 130 boxes over the last 3 years, I've found 3 V-Nickels and 2 1950-D Nickels. The most recent 1950-D find was last October. So they're out there.
I'm still missing a 39-D and 44-S to complete my set from the wild.
Happy hunting.

Good to know, thanks for posting! And wow this thread is so much slower than when I was posting my results in 2011-2013. Well I ordered 4 boxes today so I did get them next Thursday. I'm interested to see if results are similar or if my finds will be much lower these days.

Hi everyone, Great box this past week. Found 28 pre-60's Jeffersons, and a few cool ones. Found this as an ender: First proof ender we've seen. Also found 2 Canadian Nickels (1998/2002P), and a 2002 Italy 5 Euro Cent. The highlight was the coin below. It is only our 2nd 43D (found the last one in Summer 2016). This completes our 2nd set of Jefferson nickels. Very happy to have this one (although it isn't as nice as our first 43D). 1943D Found January 2020 1943D Found June 2016
