Very nice, TomM! I've yet to find a KG6 or KG5 nickel. It seems that KG5/6 pennies are relatively more plentiful in comparison.
Cheers!

I think it is because with the exception of the 1942-43 tombac issues they are all magnetic and thus are rejected in bank sorting machines. Much like 1943 steel cents are really, really hard to find in rolls.

Wow, you guys have been busy pulling good stuff!!!
We've had our first two hints in the new 'hood, one was 45 CWR that gave us 35 pre-1960 but no silver and no buffalos. Two 1946 S and a 1955 P though. Today 5 Canadians (oldest 1986), a handful of upgrades to the post-1959 nickels in our latest album and 26 pre-1960 out of 40 rolls. That includes a 1943 P and a 1958 P. I'll get some photos up soon, but we are in the throes of unpacking and getting internet up and running.

Found a 1924-P in a Loomis roll today. Too bad it missed being an official antique by 1 year, so I couldn't post it in the other thread. It's got a gash across the face, but I was surprised by how clear the date was for a Buffalo nickel that's 99 years old. Anyway, here's a picture. Cheers!

Found a 1962-P proof nickel and a 2009-D in customer rolls today. Also found a 1943-S War Nickel yesterday. I honestly think the finds have been getting better lately. I wonder if people are turning in older stuff due to the economy.
