And today it finally happened. 16 rolls into the box. So far thru 20 rolls, 16 pre-1960 including a 45P, 2 Canadians, and 13 2023P DDRs.

Congrats on the key date! =)
Are you going to post some pictures of the 2023 DDRs? Keen to see those.

Sure, once I come down off the key date high! The 23P DDRs are ridiculously numerous and frequent. I'll have to dig out the scope. We have found probably 10 of the attributed DDRs if not more and it's comical how many we can accumulate in a hunt. Full disclosure, my 7-year-old daughter found the 50D yesterday and she's super keen, telling me she thought we would find the 44D first (that's our last hole to fill in the primary album). I haven't kept accurate records of this particular album, which we began filling about 18 months ago, I will say we have probably been through well over 250,000 nickels. Three 39Ds, three 43Ds and two 39S among them (plus one each of the 38D and 38S). This box has given up a 37P Buffalo too. But we have suffered thru some real dud rolls the last few months. One specific Wells branch continues to get good circulated boxes while the rest are more miss than hit with circulated boxes and rolls. And one of my dump branches has cut me off entirely &

Yeah buddy! Absolutely fantastic find! I need one for my other book and I still need a 1939-D and 1943-D. Where are they? Congratulations on the 1950-D

Thanks guys. I kinda feel like Inigo Montoya after he avenges his father in The Princess Bride. BUT we have the pesky 44D, and who knew that would be the lone holdout? The last box seemed like it might have been part of a collection dump save for the fact that not a single S mint was in it. But so many dates were in there, and lots of D mints. AND 4 silvers. Here is the box recap: 40P x 2 40D 41P x 2 42P nickel x w 43P x 2 43S 45P 46P x 2 46D 47P x 2 ***50D*** 51D 52P 52D 53P 53D 54D 56P x 2 56D 57P 57D 58D x 2 59D x 3 2009P x 2 in the same roll! 1937P Buffalo w fine/vf details 3 Canadian 2023P DDR x 41 (several varieties) I guess if this is a milestone I need to prepare a giveaway of some sort.
