The Goal: 25,000 Rolls Of Nickels (All Searchers Welcome!)

Found a 1939-D in my weekly $20 from the credit union:

That's pretty crazy in a good way... I think I've only found 6 or 7 of them EVER. It's been an odd year for me hunting nickels as well... Shockingly, I've found FIVE 1943-D coins this year! It's always the toughest War Nickel to find. I've found a 1939-D this year, but no 1950-D... I'm also missing the 1942-P and 1945-D War Nickels, and, most surprisingly, the 1955 Philly coin. While the 1955-P is always a tough coin out here on the West coast, usually a handful turn up every year, so this is quite odd!

I'll take this in any condition any day from a bank roll in the U.S. Low mintage Canadian. Scratched obverse but this is my first 1970 and I'm happy with the find.

Yes, I'd say that 70% of the foreign coins I've found while roll hunting have come from nickel rolls.
