I just found my first War Nickels! Two of them, they were both in the same roll.

Just returned from the bank with my weekly box of nickels. Came home with a full box of bright shiny 2025-D nickels. Won't be doing much CRH'ing this week.

I went through 60 dollars worth of nickel rolls over the weekend. Nothing really stood out besides these...

Thanks, jbuck. I did also find a 1958 Philadelphia.
Jefferson nickels from 1938 and in the 40's are very interesting IMO.
Every time I find them, I'm tempted to keep them just because of how cool I think they are.
But then I don't know what to do with them or where to put them lol

I keep every found nickel in a box.

I am not sure why or what my plan is, other than giving them to (potential) grandkids.

Or, maybe one day I will try to see how much of a set I can build from them.

This YouTuber managed to find a 1918/17-D Buffalo nickel on a livestream. Got it slabbed by NGC and they gave it a F12.

A $2,000 coin, and he got it for only a nickel. They're still out there!
