No coins but I did get these coin auction catalogues for my reference library:

And this very cool replica of a Royalist supporter's medal from the reign of Charles I of England (around 1642):

I bought this coin for my daughter, whom also adores her cat. Cotton is a Turkish Angora, and I think this little stocking stuffer was perfect for my daughter.

No coins, but my Dad gave me some money which I might spend on adding another Sovereign to my collection.

In our family we always draw names to keep the costs down. I make it known that a couple of silver eagles would be fine. It is hard to not get them right.

The wife brought in a box all wrapped and said I could reach in blindfolded until it was empty. She arranged them as I pulled them out and then took off the blind fold. Boy let me tell you it was quite a site to see on the table. I am Blessed for sure.

Does she collect? It sure looks like she knows what she's doing.

No she doesn't collect but she is excellent at doing her research and she also knows where I shop and what I need. My website for my coins has a link in each series of what I need. So she simply checked my website and then went to my favorite dealers and my LCS.

What impresses me so much and why I'm so grateful is that she spent so much time in the research end to find the best examples she could afford.

I admire her and am so Blessed to have her as my wife. It was truly an amazing Christmas morning in how she presented me with the gift and how she had me open it. Really fun...

The barber I got from my sister. It may be cleaned, but it's very nice for the price ($20). The Morgan I got for myself :)
The obverse is cameo deep-mirror prooflike.
