Need Help With This Ethiopian Coin / Medal ?

Petrus Pillar of the Community Belgium 2895 Posts	Posted 01/05/2016 3:41 pm Buste seems to be Ras Tafari There is a date below the left part of the bust: numbers are: 10 9 100 6? 3 so the date is (10+9) x 100 + (6 + 3) = EE1963 add 8 to have the AD date (1972/3) I could be wrong on the 6 And it could be a replica? InconsistentBlend Valued Member Poland 59 Posts	Posted 01/05/2016 4:08 pm The date seems a bit different than one's that posted Petrus as far as I see - ((10+9)x100) + 20 + 3 = 1923 + 8 = 1930/1. But this doesn't look like anything that was officialy cirtulating well, looks like there were coins with this reverse, and other coins with this obverse, but not together. I found something similar on AC search - but it is a silver pattern. AC search. Edit: I didn't thought of that, but It indeed can be a replica of the pattern as Petrus suggested?
