Yesterday I bought $30 dollars of nickels and finally finishing up I found nothing but this odd nickel. At first it looks like Jefferson's hair grew. I put them together and they look identical except for his hair. Everything lined up lettering, dates, the head, and the rest were all in their correct position. I want to get other peoples advice before moving on to the next small load of coins I plan to purchase for next week. They all look so identical but this one stood out. I reduced the photos to fit the 200kb size.

I think I've been starring at these coins to long and my eyes are playing tricks.

I took one in normal light and the others with an led light.

I had to take a second look but they are the same, JNF, for whatever that stands for.

The one underneath the other looks to be off-struck..."by a hair"
