If I didn't need my kidneys (and didn't have kidney disease as it is) I'd sell both of them just to have a shot at owning that Morgan and Trade dollar combo.

Glad you like it, jbuck! I've gone ahead, btw, and added all the modern proofs to the end of the page. It's just basically cut and paste from my main 7070 album, but I guess it's good to be complete.

Amazing type of collection. And rather expensive to accumulate.

Quote: And rather expensive to accumulate. So I've noticed... One of the hardest thing about accumulating this collection is finding examples that are low enough a grade that I can afford but still have enough eye appeal to make me happy. Especially with the older classic proofs, most of my coins are "only" PR61 or PR62, but I'm very happy with how they look. This is one of the main reasons I haven't filled the holes for a proof Seated Liberty dollar or proof 20 Cent Piece. I've seen examples of each at coin shows, but they have all either been high grade examples costing $10K or above, or they've been more affordable examples that just don't appeal to me. And so the quest continues...

Quote: The benefit of dealing with virtual albums. Of course, the problem with virtual albums is knowing when to stop... I just added some more modern proofs, including the Roosevelt reverse proof from 2015, the Kennedy reverse proof and gold proof from 2014 and, just for good measure, an example of a proof American Gold Eagle and a proof American Platinum Eagle. I don't have a proof Buffalo, or else I'd add that as well.

Please, do not stop. You need to update the landing page in your signature to provide access to the proof type set.
