I'll have to try that CTRL-F5 trick. Beats having to manually clear my cache...

It is great for the on-the-fly reloads when you know something has been changed.

My coin collecting goal would be a proof U.S. type set so this made me drool. Great job! You don't see many people going for the proofs like this!

Thanks! It looks like I've managed to fill two more holes over the last couple of days thanks to ebay (I got a really great deal on a PF66 Three Cent Silver and picked up a proof Wheat back Cent for a low price). That just leaves the three hardest holes to fill -- the proof Seated Liberty dollar, the proof 20-Cent Piece and the proof Buffalo nickel. The first two I just haven't seen in a grade I like at a price I can afford, and the third one I'm holding out for one I can afford that doesn't have the "satin" finish.

I have contemplated doing a proof US type set, but I have since concluded that it is too expensive for my meager budget right now. Maybe someday... I really like your virtual presentation. It actually looks like a Dansco album. Good job!

As an aside, I've mentioned in the past how I need to discuss any and all purchases with my wife since we share finances 100%. It's hard sometimes, since she doesn't really appreciate coins and is afraid I'm just throwing money away. Well, things have changed a bit since I started buying certified coins, since it has been easier for me to convince her that (a) I'm not just buying junk and (b) they might be considered good investments (especially in higher grades).
Anyway, the last couple of coins I bought were instances where I explained to my wife that these were the type of coins I was interested in, but I was waiting to find examples in lower grades that were more affordable. In each case, she urged me to just go ahead and spend more for a higher grade examples, since it would most likely be a better investment in the long run. w00t! I still don't think she's gonna let me get a proof 20-cent piece in PR66 for $10,000+, but I'm very happy with my recent additions...

Glad to see she is okay with the better purchases. I know it will make you happier in the long run.

I don't suppose you'd consider her sharing her? Numismatically speaking, that is. Best Regards, George

A very impressive collection!
Normally I am not a fan of slabbed coins but in this case, the situation is different.
Some of the coins are already slabbed. Protection wise and toning wise, I do not like the album those valuable coins are stored in, and it would be better if all the coins were slabbed. That is despite the fact they are very well presented just the way they currently are.
At least, the whole collection would be consistently stored and displayed if they were all slabbed.
All of the coins, thus slabbed, could then be stored / displayed in a slab pocket album or albums.
Currently the two different display / storage systems clash with each other, and I think the protection of the coins is more important than display.
If the whole collection was to be consigned for sale by an auctioneer, it is almost certain that the collection would be broken up and the coins sold individually, so slabbing them all would help in this regard.
