I think they are all slabbed and not in a physical Dansco album. They are in a virtual Dansco, though.

Quote: Protection wise and toning wise, I do not like the album those valuable coins are stored in, and it would be better if all the coins were slabbed. That is despite the fact they are very well presented just the way they currently are. Not entirely sure what you are talking about, sel. You do realize that there isn't any actual album, right? I just used Photoshop to create the illusion that the coins are in an album. In reality, all the classic proofs are all slabbed and sitting in a lock box in a safe. A few of the modern proofs are in my actual 7070 album, but that's because they aren't particularly rare or valuable enough to have slabbed (generic proof Kennedy half dollar, Eisenhower dollar, Washington quarter, etc.). The whole reason I created this virtual album was precisely because the majority of my proof coins are slabbed and I don't have any way to display them in a real album as a result. But I'll take your comments as a testament to my awesome Photoshop skills... If you want to see the coins in all their slabbed glory, check out my Slabbed Coins page.

I feel MUCH more assured! As it turns out, you are already doing what should be done with such a quality collection.

Glad to be of assurance, sel!
I just wish I could do a better job photographing them. They all look so nice and shiny in hand, but it's so hard to capture the reflectivity of the slabbed coins.

Well, it looks like I may not have any money left in the coin budget to even go to the big coin show I had planned to attend this year, but I just scored a nice PF61 Liberty Seated dollar on ebay (and yes, I've added it to the proof page)...

Wow, that's a very impressive digital album you've got there, Chris! I had no idea PCGS did stuff like that. Pity my coins are graded by multiple companies (I've got PCGS, NGC and ANACS) and some are ungraded.
Thanks for sharing.

Quote: Here is my 7070 (at least those slabbed in this company's holder) so far: Okay, I am impressed. That is a really nice presentation.

Wow awesome 7070 digital albums! :D How does one go about getting that PCGS one? I am sure the coins would all need to be PCGS graded?

In other news, I now have only one hole left to fill in my proof type set. Barring a miracle, however, I don't think I'll be getting that proof 20-cent piece any time soon...
