Mexico President Luis EcheverrÃa visits US President Richard Nixon in Washington DC. 29.67 grams, 40mm, rings silver. LCS pickup. I like the high relief portrait side. Any idea who made this, is it documented anywhere? Ideas on metal content? The camera is reflected on the medal.   |

It looks something like the style of some medals issued by Central de Numismática y Medallística in Mexico City. Frank W. Grove listed these in his book as "Baron". However, his book ends with medals issued in early 1971, and this is a 1972.
It is most likely high-content silver.
