Hi,

No. A crack on the die results in a raised area on the coin.

From what I can see of your coin, it has been heavily circulated so I would guess that it just took a bad hit at some point.

Keep hunting -- there's good stuff out there just waiting to be found.

Almost looks like a small planchet flaw. It wouldn't add any value, and it probably is just a ding, but the rough edges around the 'hit' made me think it might be a tiny planchet defect.
