1879 CC Fake? - Coin Community Forum

nss-52 Moderator United States 54284 Posts	Posted 02/21/2016 5:21 pm (not a Morgan expert) but if a VAM number for a particular year has unique die parings, then your coin is not a VAM-2 based on the position of the mint mark. Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4472 Posts	Posted 02/21/2016 5:29 pm The CC on the coin does not appear to tilt left as on the VAM 2, and the c' s appear to be different shape. It could be post mint damage as the coin has more thing right than wrong. Report this Post to the Staff
