I have been slacking a little on my silver buying .. Had to pick up some guns for my CCW that's coming ... --------------------------------------------------- I did pick up some silver yesterday.  Sometimes it is fun to pull out the coins and check them out, nice to see what is there ...     |

Great idea! I've been buying coins for a friend's son's birthdays and such, and I thought of getting a little chest for her to store them for him. It will be fun for him to have his own little pirate chest one day, I hope.

I took a little extra cash to the coin shop .. hoping to pick a good amount of Canadian silver .... Found out they took it off to be melted, early this week .. So sad .. there were a lot of nice coins in the box ...  I did pick up a little more for the box.  |

That is a bummer. My LCS had quite a bit of Canadian stuff at spot price before they took it to be melted too. Now it starts over and they have some older Canadian 10 cents and some quarters in there. Nice stash!

Guys, will your LCS put stuff aside for you/ call you before they melt stuff?

My LCS would ..if I let them know.
They had not been melting much lately. I talked to them, with silver
prices trending down ... they did not want to be sitting on hundreds
of ounces.
