Depending on when I am eating super I either watch Jeopardy! at 7:30 on Newfoundland Television or 8:30 on WGNB Maine in Presque Isle.

I'm kind of in the same boat as Collects82. Those are my two parakeets. The blue is buddy and the yellow if dandelion. I love animals, except for spiders, and if I could, I would include my crayfish, goldfish, plecosomus, guppies, otocinclus, mystery snails, corys, ghost shrimps, cherry shrimps, platies, danios (I have a jungle with 3 aquariums in the middle), maybe some of my aquatic plants and no aquatic plants, and my birdhouse on the balcony with 5-6 happy finches. But then again, that's just me Just thought of some more... Full pictures of my aquariums and my piano

For me, my avatar has next to no relevance to my collecting interest; I chose it simply because it's a has an appealing design (I've always liked the three crowns of Sweden despite being the opposite of a patriot). Another reason is because it's old and silver, somethings that go well together in coin collecting. Generally I focus more on mid-19th century to today's world coins, so technically it falls out of my range, but I happened to pick it up during a coin show for pretty cheap.

Lol My first avatar that I uploaded was my 1931 S LWC... Man, I had that one for over a year. I'm thinking of switching back to it... My current, and 2nd, avatar is my 1897 Proof Liberty Head Nickel. I chose it because I love the look of the coin, and it shows that YNs can have just as good, or even better (not saying mine is better, lol) collections than some adults.

I enter my coins into my inventory and collection when I accumulate 30-40 new coins. I take all the pictures of them then, too.
It just so happened that when I finally started posting the Hawaii Dollar was one that I'd just purchased and the history behind that issue had me fascinated.
Plus, it's not a common coin that I might see someone else use, although I know there is at least one poster than uses a Hawaii Quarter.

I chose my 2013-W ASE because of its unique finish. I also chose my avatar because YNs like me and others on this forum have a reputation for always having the "crap coins". I'm trying to prove them wrong.

My favourite collection is Canadian silver dollars. So why is my avatar a nickel dollar? They started making the Loonie dollar coin in 1997 but they made the voyageur that year too just not for circulation. It is not by any means rare or expensive, just kind of novel as many people think the last voyageur one was 1996.

I finally bought my "dream coin" year, so it was only fitting that it should become my avatar.

I was after a nicely centred one of these coins for ages... when I finally got it I considered it a great looker and it was also very reasonably priced... I was so happy I changed my avatar to it.
Its an ancient obol of Messembria, Thrace.
