Here's basically all I've got for the 15th century, and I haven't even 100% ID'd it yet: Hungary Denar, somewhere between Albert (1437) and Laszlo (1457). I didn't even own this coin when I started the thread!

Since we're now delving deeply into history can I ask (purely out of interest) that people specify the country their coins came from along with the modern equivalent.

I am going to have to miss this week and possibly next week...still a bit too modern for me ^^
Looking forwards to the Byzantine, Roman and Greek periods though ^^

I would love to see some jetons! They did indeed play a pivotal role in accounting, if not direct commerce.
Also as a reminder, commodity money is acceptable as well, as long as it is attributable to a specific century.

United Kingdom / England (Henry VI): 1431-1433 halfgroat: This one is all corroded -- I guess it was dug up at some time? Before 1505 (my oldest dated coin), I have only few coins (no ancients), so I will become mostly a spectator from now on.

@pepactonius, great half-groat! Here is a 1 Real from Majorca. It is undated, but was minted between 1452 and 1516 at the Palma mint. The attribution is C&C 2170.

1468 K-K/shield Hungarian Denar under King Matthias Corvinus. I will need to re-take some of these pictures that are out of focus and washed out by direct sun light.
