I'm starting to put together a type set of all of the 20th century US coins. Here are my dollars so far. I have a few other coins. I'm going for all slabbed coins for this set. I realized that I have become sort of a slab snob because all of my coins are PCGS certified.

Enjoy.

Nice looking start. I really like that Peace dollar. Looking at the picture I would say it is a very nice looking coin for an MS-62. I see a lot of these that are really hard on the eyes in that grade.

Very nice set going on.

Slab snobbery pales in comparison to some of the discussions in my neighborhood.

Honda vs. Harley
But when it comes to beer choices, it turn into a melee.

Nice set!

Are you going shoot for all commemorative dollars, or just have that one to represent the type?

@Finn235, eventually I will get all of the commemorative dollars but it is really low on my priority list right now. I'm the type of collector that likes to complete sets even though I don't have very many completed right now. I have about 8 commemorative dollars but the only other one that is slabbed is a 2010 BSA proof.

That's a really nice idea for a set. I really like the US commemorative dollars (I have about 20 different ones or so by now). Good luck on getting this set completed!

ps. shouldn't this topic get a better coverage when put in the US modern coin forum?
Rest in Peace

Awesome looking type set. I have never done a slabbed type set but yours looks tempting!

@Coinfrog, What's next? I would like to finish off my dollar types with an ASE and a 40% Ike. I believe this would complete this series but then there are the half dollars, quarters, dimes, etc. I plan to eventually collect a complete (no gold) 20th century type set in slabs. Then there is all of those silver Washington quarters and Franklin half dollar that won't buy themselves.
