More great coins EddieDiz! In my mind, no coin is more iconic for the 13th Century than a hand heller from the German City State of Hall. Here is mine; the attribution is Saurma 1365 and Szego Plate 2, 20.

And this is my most favorite coin for this century: County of Hainaut Maille No date (about 1225AD) Ruler: Joan of Constantinopel, also called Joan of Flanders (1205-1244) Mint: Valenciennes Reference: Chalon 10-11, Vanhoudt 434 Obv: Cross with crescents in the quarters Rev: Monogram of Hainaut with two stars Legend: VA LE CE NE  I like these two centuries very much!! (I mean I am very jealous not having such nice coins....  )
