Liked the original look on this one. What did NGC grade it? 1928-Peace-Dollar-For-Grading 1928-Peace-Dollar-For-Grading Tried to crop image to enlarge it but not so successful

I wish Ed! Sometimes its nice to pick up some decent coins you don't have yet if you can find them at a decent price. This one I paid $260 for which I thought was a decent price.

I bet a year or two ago you would have paid $360 for the 1928. I like Peace dollars because you can complete a set for a few thousand dollars in AU condition. The 1934-S is the only one that gets really expensive in higher grades.

I'd be in the AU-50 camp, too. Most noting on Peace is ugly. This one is much above average.

I'm in the EF camp. I see no luster from the pictures, which is a must for an AU designation.
