1836 Gobrecht Dollar For Your Grading Estimates

billjones Pillar of the Community United States 1499 Posts	Posted 04/14/2016 5:32 pm This is one of my favorite coins, the 1836 Gobrecht dollar. This is one of the original issue of 1,000 pieces with the eagle flying "onward and upward" on the reverse, when the coin is turned on its horizontal axis. Overall there are four die alignments for this coin, and the experts continue to speculate and disagree as when each one was struck. What do you think it grades? Your collection is just unbelievable. What are your plans for it in the future. This is something a lot of collectors struggle with especially if you have no heirs that have the same interest.
