I think this coin is going to be H.O. Double T!
Silveroid, do you work for the Mint? You never make a spelling mistake!

Quote:35pcs available now on RCM's website If you guys, hesitate, and have money to spend, buy only one and see....you always can return it. Some of us like to have the items that holds the value, so why do not have it chance? (i didn't buy, cause this theme doing nothing for me, and I do not like this "unique shape")

Can't help but intercede with what is being posted. 1) If an eBayer wants to lower a presale coin (due out in Sept, 2016) well they can do that. The sky is not falling. Not sure why they would do that after only a week after prerelease but whatever. 2) Never thought coin collecting or flipping for that matter was "a game". From what I read most of us collect and hopefully flip "some" coins for a profit to balance out our losses for coins we like. 3) As in every system there are ways "to circumvent" "the rules" and we are all guilty to some degree.
Our main goal is to promote coin collecting and not turn potential hobbyists off.

@ Silveroid
I did order the gold coin on Monday. I keep looking at the coin and the graphic beauty box; however, I cannot see Star Trek on it. The silver coins' packaging have Star Trek written across the packaging. Am I missing something that I did not see?
Also, what is a "SW designer"?

Software designer coding basically, but not like really "smart guys"..click click blindly on the keyboard
I've watched yesterday night couple of TOS series - the coin is really the high rank officer's budge from the series. Creative need to say. The silver ones doesn't look good at all (imo) - pictures from the series, no effort.

Strange, every Star Trek gold coin has been pulled from ebay. Licence infringement? Or is it the ebay rule that there no pre-sales with items to be more than 90 days ahead?

I was wondering how people could list this coin months in advance. Don't ebay rules state that sold items, including pre-sales, must be sent within 30 days of purchase?

My gut feeling says this coin will eventually take off!

Zero or limited amount of sales kills the interest of the people (no demand) So not clear, why RCM told to ebay remove the listings....do they like order cancellations?
