....and the best deal, from the re-seller point of view - 3 coins sold all together, each for CAD 1710 , assuming cash. No need to ship, no worries.

Sold Star Trek Delta coins for the last week: Prices remain steady but not too high. Six of the eight coins sold for less than $2000. Two of them were over $2000 but were "best offer accepted coins, which really skew the prices higher than what they are really are. The Sept. 16 coin - sold for $1850. The Sept. 13 coin sold for $1888.

Supply is still high - many flippers anxious to convert to cash. Just my opinion, but I see upside 3-6 months down the line.

Landed 2 weeks ago .... and found itself in the shadow of the RCM gold coin. Looks like interest weak enough, to leave the coin on the shelves of Mint and stores. Still, nice and elegant piece of art And RCM is ahead again!

"That's how I see it, too. We'll know soon enough after the supply dwindles. My guess is that a few flippers are paying interest on their purchases." My 2 cents worth is "strike while the iron is hot". I've held on to RCM stuff before with the same thoughts just to see the meltdown. Still trying to sell some but it will be at a loss. Not suggesting this particular coin will go this route and for those hanging on I hope it will appreciate. They deserve it. I was as they say "out of my comfort zone." Which is why I sold at the first opportunity.

Buying numismatic coins and expecting appreciation is a risky gamble.
But Delta Gold Coin is an exception.
As long as buying at issue price, I am not worry much about depreciation on the coin.

"Buying numismatic coins and expecting appreciation is a risky gamble." For sure. Many of us on this and other forums have experienced the ups and downs. We would be more than pleased to see our purchases at least hold their value rather than members of both forums stating they'll wait and pick them up at a 30 - 50% discount in 6 months or so. Hopefully the Delta Gold will continue to appreciate.

Quote:Graded gold delta coins are being listed, I haven't seen any PF70s yet. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2016-200-CAN...AOSwmfhX5Hbw I was about to say this is one of the few coins that looks far better in a slab than in the capsule...that dollar store foam insert, what was RCM thinking? But if I'm looking at the photo of the NGC stabbed coin correctly, oddly the inset/holder is a solid coloured piece. So only one side of the coin would be visible --- yet the seller's photos show both sides of the coin facing outward?

I think the seller may have taken the picture of the reverse against a white background which makes it look like the holder only shows one side of the coin.
