My current year spend is increased when I order (sometimes it takes a day or two to show), not when the coin is shipped/billed. The exception, as I noted above, is subscriptions. As for the silver coins, a few pages back I think those of us with opinions were quite negative. They look like the ugly stepchildren of the Perth Mint coins, and this is saying a lot IMO. My personal opinion I wouldn't by any of the silver unless it's for your personal collection.

Just my imagination.....over the course of the next few months.....A buys, who sells to B, price creeps up, quick way to make $100, B sells to C, who sells to D who suddenly needs the money so flips it to E, F, G......wham comes a postal strike just as it's released and was ready to begin making the sequential and timely journey to postal outlet's at location of A to B, then C, then D......! Meanwhile, the clock has long ago ticked out on ebay's 90 day guarantee... What a mess that could be. |

You are correct about CC&C Star Trek launch. It will be May 13th and the person That takes care of me there has no clue about any gold Star Trek coins:))

@CC Ottawa I have emailed my rep. I cannot calculate as the thermometer on my profile is way past platinum prestige. I am going to find out. I will want a print out of what the mint has included or not included in this cycle.

I have such a phenomenal rep. He emails me back after hours as well. This is what he states in his email to me with regards to Master Club Status: "The billing and ship date" are what counts towards that cycle and not when you order the item. So, in other words, the Star Trek Gold coins will be included for next cycle.

I asked my rep whether the cost of the gold would count in this year's total purchases in determining towards next year's MC status. I got a different message than that of New1954. My rep told me that the purchase would be treated as part of the current MC year total, despite a shipping date in September. Regardless, I think it is still a very good buy.

Regardless, I think it is still a very good buy. since anyway we not planning to leave it in the colection, it is really not harms to buy (if you have a budget): MC status upgrade points and moneyback on the credit card possibility of some profit etc in worst case - return the coin and that's all. I see the negative side in the shipping when buyer says: "didn't receive" "received, but no coin inside" Edited by Silveroid

Still don't understand how anyone can pre-sell a coin that doesn't ship till September. I would want to see what I am purchasing first before I drop $1800. What if a preseller gets a scratched coin and still ends up selling it?
