can those with a self sustaining stack share their ways and what exactly they do to maintain a self sustaining stack? Where you use profits of selling portions of the stack to buy more silver than what you sell creating a self growing stack and you don't have to put another penny into it.

Please share your ways .

Well, my collection is pretty much self sustaining. I sell a lot of lower end coins and buy only a few higher graded or nicer specimens. Once or twice a month I end up posting like 20+ coins on ebay (not recently though).

Via roll hunting I acquired roughly 1,000 40% silver Kennedy halves. I sold them for close to $4 ea a few years back, and put the profits into .999 and 90%. I still find dozens each year and turn them also.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

Probably the most important thing to accomplishing this is not getting attached to any of your stuff
