I totally agree, that's an ideal period of time to begin an affordable collection. No other demonination has such an interesting diversity plus historical significance to WW2.

And of course the hunt for a nickel without spots in the chrome plating. This series will turn you into a picky coin collector for sure!

Good point on the chrome. Mine either have spots or small "pits".
