Might we start a thread on things found in bank rolls that are not coins? To get us going: here is something round and copper, but not a coin:

I found a guitar pick in a bank roll of Halves and a Lincoln Cent that was in another roll of Halves. The Cent looked like it was smashed on a train track.

I found a round piece of wood that fit tightly in a quarter roll, with only 2 real quarter at the end... Lost $9.50.

Now I guess I don't feel so bad about a batch of nickel rolls this week that each had only 37 coins. I just paid $.10 for this really old wooden button. It is larger than a dime, so the roll split there. Complete with thread!

Long strands of hair, lately, in customer-wrapped rolls.

Not in a roll, but a bag 'o halves I found an SD chip. Like an idiot I put in in my camera and found some mundane photos. I also found my camera ruined by a virus.
Edit: forgot to add that my camera then infected my laptop.

I've found quite a bit of plastic play money in cent rolls over the years. I didn't think to take any pictures of them and I threw the plastic play coins out so no pics. Sorry.

I have found a few coin-sized tokens occasionally.
When I was in HS (and worked at a restaurant) I found a game token in a roll of quarters and an identical one from the same joint a few weeks later in another roll. I used them at the arcade since it was not too far away, you do that when you are 16 and making $2.00 an hour.
