Harihara-2 On the obverse, legend reads "Sri Pratapa Harihara". Reverse has figure of a humped bull that is fully worn out on this coin.

Some Vijayanagara coins are too challenging. Their attribution is somewhat ambiguous and might get modified on closer study. Here are a few of them.

I would be greatly indebted to anyone who could help me identify this coin. I have spent more man hours trying to match it with images of identified coins than I would care to disclose... Thanks in advance! JDRMCB

Yes,Finn. Assam, Ahom kingdom, Gowreenath Simha. Upper obverse image reads "sri sri Gowrinatha simha nripasya" meaning issued by king sri gowrinath simha. The reverse legend is "sri sri hara gowri pada parasya", a sacred verse dedicating self to the feet of Lord Siva and Parvathi. Denomination will depend on its weight. Please see this https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...-003-006.jpg on page number two (2) of this thread. Thanks
