@CC-Ottawa: I've noticed the same "Sold Out" issue on the RCM site for a couple of weeks now. As in the image you captured, each time I've seen it the "Sold Out" at the top of the list is exactly half of the "Sold Out" option at the bottom of the list. Strange.

Correct! The "Mintage" that is posted on each coin's sales page is the maximum that can be minted, it is not a statement of how many definitely will be minted. Sales drive the final mintage numbers and can vary greatly from the posted maximums.

And also why the online "amount available" for order is misleading if the maximum mintage wasn"t minted at the onset. But of course the "hurry, buy now, almost sold out" concept is a beneficial marketing tactic for RCM because it moves people to buy what they might not have ordinarily bought.
Rest in Peace

Kind of waiting for a Toronto Maple Leafs coin, celebrating winning the first pick, finally winning something in about 55 years

@john100

I bet there will be a 100th Anniversary Silver Dollar for the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2017, similar to what they did for the Montreal Canadiens

Profitability vs coin as it suppose to be

Yes, nicelly done item (Ladybug) and brought nice profit, but will not attract the traditional coin collector.

Noticing it at CC&C. The maze seems far too simplistic to be considered a conversation piece in my opinion as well.

The $8 yin and yang indeed, as commems mentioned, pairs well with the previous 2007 squared-hole coin. It's interesting how RCM creates suprise series every now and then.

It may not have jumped in value on the secondary market, but it was a sell-out at the time - 19,954 of 20K sold! (And that's why it didn't jump in price on the secondary market!)

The next 25 for 25 coin must also be a June release. I see C4F has it listed for sale on ebay.
A familiar looking polar bear with 3 red coloured maple leaves in the forefront making it look as though the leaves were floating by in the air. We all know maple trees grow in the north pole. Must be how Santa's Elves get wood to make all the toys.
Odd, C4F has 2 listings. One looks like a regular 25 for 25 coin listing, but for $6 more, he lists another that has the added word "SEALED" in the title. I wonder what the difference is?

here and there we return to this theme

usually, the XforX coins come from RCM in their paper card with glued pouch with the capsule. From other hand, the Mint boutique, Canada Post and dealers distribute same package, but the card is SEALED, not free open.
Since all these entities (except the Mint boutique) charge $5 or $6 more - so it clear why C4F does the same.

New 1954, I like the maze coin, as well (after I saw the video). What's interesting is the maze is made up of "C's". I guess they would call this an "ultra-low relief" with the way the ball needs to travel-lol. I thought that was it for buying until after july, but this coin really grew on me.
