I can see a limit on the crystal coin because there are only 4500 of them. No idea why the yin yang coin has a limit considering there are nearly 7000 of them.

I find it odd that they place a limit of 2 for the maple leaf crystal coin and the yin yang coin and no limits on the maze coin.
Let me hear your answers.
I don't know that anyone knows for sure but I have a theory. It follows the implementation of limits set on XforX and retention on the younger RCM customers who were attracted by their announced intention of increasing their client base. But now XforX limits have been implemented to reduce the costliness of redemptions so RCM needs to lure this segment back in the happy camp. Undoubtedly RCM takes advantage of market analysis and my bet is they've determined this segment overlaps that of gamers. Buy as many maze coins as they like, placing MC status back within reach and send the message that future coins will be more fun and games. I'm not intending this be derogatory in any way - it's become obvious by reduced mintsges over the last few years that RCM has already lost a huge following of their longtime, traditional collectors somewhere along the way.

Very interesting analysis...the Maple Leaf maze coin (first toy coin issued)...a-MAZE-nly about to sell out...thru mint site...appealing possibly to the new gamers generation...very possible...indeed.

Received the email newsletter Monday morning with just the mention of the maze coin.
The Mint brochure arrived hours before the email order form and accompanying video. Was expecting both a few days earlier based on previous month's releases.
No big deal though since I'm going to sit this one out.
Dumb question - what is the RFD forum?

The RCM is definitely "managing" the number of maze coins available on their web site. At 1:00am (Eastern) the site only had two of the coins available. When I checked about 15 minutes ago, I was surprised that the coin was still available. I was able to add 5 to my cart. I didn't try to add any larger amounts once I realized what was going on (I did not buy any as the "coin" holds no appeal for me.)

I don't want to be too harsh on the RCM design team as this unit seems to be selling well, but it looks like a prize in those 2.00 mall gumball machines. It's one of those coin that if you use it too much as design you will wear groves or the outer shell will damage

John100, They appear to have taken those worries into account and claim neither will be damaged by the ball. That's addressed in the description

It's strange that I received a paper copy of the June release in my postal box prior to getting an email.

Probably last just over the return period, combining a moveable toy with a perfect finished coin just doesn't seem compactable,

I'll try the maze a couple times to see how hard it is, then it will likely sit untouched for many years. I'm not concerned about it devaluation to to the ball

RCM made another 100 available in their website. I can't believe this is a Crown Corporation.

Those availability numbers mean nothing. The Mintage is the only important number since this coin will eventually sell out one way or another.
