jay4202472000 Pillar of the Community United States 853 Posts	Posted 06/23/2016 8:30 pm I've been trying for over a year (at least, maybe longer) to cherry this variety or 001 off ebay. I've been outbid a few times, but I haven't noticed many. This one was listed BIN for $17. I had been watching it for about 2 weeks and was hesitant because I was only 95% sure it was the variety. You couldn't absolutely see the RPM. It "appeared" to be there, and the markers matched, but it was still a guess that the little dot I could make out was an actual RPM. The seller discounted the coin to $13.36 and that was all the push I needed. The 001 & 003 are tied as one of my top 5 RPMs. I just love this coin! Thanks for looking all! The crack from wheat tip through E was there & there appeared to be an RPM. I got it & the "RPM" was a little bit of debris. Also, the crack started from the center wheat tip instead of the tip left of the center tip. I wasted $24 on a normal, but AU 1925-S. Win some, loose some I guess! Report this Post to the Staff
