I picked this up in a group of coins I recently acquired, the cent is silver colored.

The fabric and rims remind me of a Chinese counterfeit. It is a gram too light, and I think that it conclusive evidence that this coin is counterfeit.

Note the words 'ONE CENT'. Note they are offset into two different directions on each word.
