Are you confused about the grade or something else?

I am confused about what your confused about ... So far I am seeing a 1901 O that appears to be in some sort of slab .. my guess would be PCGS slab .. As fuzzy posted .. does the grade seem wrong to you? Does it have a label error?

She's a nice frosty beauty ! Maybe he's concerned about the scratch on reverse ? Maybe he's not sure if it's on the coin , or on the slab .

Looks like a strike through error behind the ear in the shape of a U. Does the holder reflect this? or am I just seeing things. Still a very nice looking coin with great eye appeal.

Sorry all, Titles are important. My concern was the obvious reverse gouges. I realize that they may straight grade them with hairlines and scratches, but the gouges are deep and visible at all angles. I still bought it at a bargain price and still enjoy it as an almost flawless coin otherwise. Thank you all, AG D

Ok , so that heavy scratch on reverse is on the coin . Bummer , A real nice piece otherwise .

Looks like the scratch took this one from an MS-66 or 67 down to a 64. Looks like that was the only flaw on the coin caused by someone mishandling it.
