1851-O Eagle, NGC AU-50. The coin graded problem-free but it was definitely cleaned at some point. Note the little ring in the shield which is characteristic of this issue.

dsfreeworld, thank you very much for your kind offer. I have actually been for the last few weeks in the U.S on our yearly vacation and took the opportunity to add 3 capped bust dimes to my collection. I was hoping to find a nice, original (and suitably priced) 43-O, 45-O, or 49-O dime, but no luck.

Love that Nawlins gold, especially that double eagle.  x10 Wonder who on here has an 1854O double eagle? Or an 1856O?
