The Coin Shoppe is selling them again, listing them as "Availability: On Order From The Mint"... I would like to see it in person before biting. I've been wanting a 2oz. silver coin though... is coloured really any more of a gimmick than high relief? [okay you got me, I'll probably still get a 2oz. high relief at some point regardless if I get this coin].

It's all a matter of personal taste. Buy it if you like it, and who cares what others say about it...lol

I bought the 2nd one and am happy with it, so I bought this one, too.

I also buy 2 and 3 ounce high relief coins because I enjoy having them in my collection.

Before I walked out of my house Bromberg had sold 170 of these coins.
Go the the shopping channel.com and you can order 10 at a time while supplies last.

absolutely truth,
you might like the sticker on the coin or gimmicky high relief (who cares about HR or UHR if design is "meh") or boring traditional multi-layered proof.

Get the coin that you like and enjoy it

Added:
RCM has different 2oz coins for different tastes to select from:
200for200 series,
recent GITD series,
Batman vs Superman
Canadian Contemporary Art- Tim Barnard coin,
National Aboriginal Veterans Monument coin

It is not not a "Stuck on Sticker" coin. It has some relief as it is not completely flat. The best description of it is enameled painted surface with highlighted relief.

On a side note, be sure to get the RCM UV flashlight because regular flashlight don't work as well on the coin. While you get the glow in the dark effect with a regular flashlight, you need to use the UV blacklight to see some of the special effects (the coral is red when using the UV light under darkness).

I just joking about "sticker", "meh" and "boring" giving different definitions to different coin finishes.
Btw, the fully balanced 2oz coin with great price/quality ratio , imo this is the bullion "Queen's Beasts" first coin from RM....

Agreed...the "Queen's Beasts" is one of the nicest 2oz bullion coins so far, imo.

This guy sure loaded up on this coin. Already sold 17. Is he a dealer? Otherwise how can he get so many when the limit is one customer. Plus the big dealers have not even started shipping the coins yet. CDN COIN, Gatewest, Colonial all say they are waiting stock from the Mint, yet this guy got lots already. BTW, I think this is the same seller who had 20+ of the Inukshuk.

Unfortunately can't see your attached picture, but took a look at ebay, and notice, that there are many coins listed.
Majority in range of CAD 195-210 with Free or up to CAD15 shipping.
For this price only for the dealer worth to list...

It's interesting they make no attempt to show the blacklit scene in the promotional YouTube video... On screen, the Moonlight Fireflies design isn't really catching me, but when I look at the Moonlight Wolves I have to ask: does anyone reading this thread own it, and if so, how do you rate it? (or even the Fireflies, for that matter). Thanks!

Another question.

When the Firefly was initially released, it was introduced as a 2oz GID first. But I don't recall reading anywhere that it was to become the first of a series.
http://www.mint.ca/store/coins/2-oz....V6X5c1fOerU

However once Moonlight GID was released, it mentions a series -- "Previous coin in series SOLD OUT in just ONE DAY! Hurry and order yours today!"
http://www.mint.ca/store/coins/2-oz....V6X6q1fOerU

In addition to Neospec's questions, does anyone know how many coins are to be issued in the 2oz GID series?

No doubt this is an interesting coin... I almost ordered one.

But for that money I decided to continue my $200 X $200 collection instead.
