interesting, the $2 bill. I'd wager that RCM is itching for authority to colourize Cdn banknotes at some point in the future as well.

Wow cool!

Too bad they dont ship to Canada.

Some on ebay but the shipping in almost as much as the price for the set lol...

Yes but I recall several RCM sets issued with ordinary $2 banknotes, specifically toonie sets. And as I recall the hierarchy of RCM falls under the Minister of Finance, going back to the creation of the mint to produce coins for the BofC so the two are closely connected.

A thought crossed my mind that if a coin and banknote set were to be issued in Canada, the price would be at least twice as much. The ghosts of Canada cupro coin (and stamp) in it's flimsy cardboard sleeve is $30.

In all RCM Star Trek offerings I am missing simplicity , similar to the bullion Star Trek coin by Perth Mint.
Well , our 20for20 isn't bad, but it is small

@Silveroid

You were right in your speculation about a forthcoming silver Star Trek Delta coin.

On September 6th the Perth Mint will be releasing a Star Trek Delta 1oz Silver proof coin.

The Silver "Delta" coin not from RCM,
but since we speak about gold RCM coin, please be updated:

looking at the other forum - conversation with the dealer - looks like the silver Delta will have the demand, and release is worldwide (!), the Toronto dealer will not have allocation sufficient for all.
Please check your ways to get it.....

According to the other forum - the returns of Gold Delta ST RCM coin started...
This is understandable, cause ST fans not in rush to give away CAD 900 for something, that expected be available for 100-150

Badge is badge...not sure, that in the movie it made of gold.

nobody has returned any gold Delta coins, as they have not been released yet. maybe some cancelled orders, or expired credit cards possibly.

For those who only bought it just to flip on ebay and who need their money back out very quickly, in my opinion it's a high risk venture considering ebay disallowed a lengthy presale period. Those would be the orders that might be getting cancelled. If so, that's a good thing in my opinion as collectors with a genuine interest in the coin who missed out on the original offering might get an opportunity to buy it at issue price.

To the average person on the street without specific interest in bullion or collector coin, gold is a colour. Plenty of upcoming competition:

That pin pales in comparison to the gold delta coin, not even close imo. In the end, you get what you pay for. A cheap, delta pin made in China which I am sure there are many of, VS a rare, pure gold delta coin. It really is up to the buyer.

Any day now before the Gold Deltas start selling on ebay.
I can see huge bidding wars for these on ebay!
